After a first period goal, the Pittsburgh Penguins went on to allow four unanswered goals to fall 4-1 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Martin Necas tallied two points for the 'Canes, while rookie Jackson Blake earned his second goal in as many games.

I love watching Crosby and Malkin, but boy do the Penguins suck as a team. No coordination, no speed, no skill... Any good team just takes them for a walk.

Freddie looked good, we got another Ghost sighting, and a solid balanced attack on the PP. PK was stifling and they didn't let the Pittsburgh fans enjoy their only goal for long. Good overall effort. Go Canes!

Once again, we see that against contending teams, the Pens are nowhere near true contention. This looks similar to game-1 against the Rangers where they lost 6-0.

I guess “impossible” means something different when you’re playing PIT, lol.

That was sad.

I give a lot of credit to the PIT game caller, who has to try to muster the guise of enthusiasm every time CAR scores.

The goaltending can't even be blamed. The Pens are just giving up chance after chance. Hasek couldn't turn all these shots aside.
