Everyone is praising the lyrics but as a non native english speaker, what made me get in love with this song was its melody. It is so unique and magical. It gives me sad, gothic, fairy-like vibes that is at the same time fulfilling you with confidence and nostalgia.

I feel like this is the song for that tiny fable made by I forgot who, but it was with a fox and he wanted berries from a too high branch and he kept trying to get it but he couldn't, so he said "Even a fool would see those grapes are sour". The message the writer was trying to say was "Its easy to despise something that you cannot have". That's the vibe I got from this song. Sorry for being such a nerd, I just read a book all about the creator's poems and that story was one of 'em.
