Thank you for posting. Very helpful and we have this issue for the second consecutive year in Southwest Michigan

This is a FUNGUS,
Next year, Start when the plants are small, spray every 2 weeks with 2 aspirin /1 gal water EVERY TWO WEEKS. This is a preventative. Also be sure the base of your tomato plants are well mulched to prevent mud splash on the leaves.

If the fungus takes over, do you still eat the fruit? My bigger tomatoes all have little white spots in the skins now that the fungus is throughout my plants.

You should've removed them long ago

I literally just finished chopping off all the diseased parts on my tomato plants. Took a good two hours. I have a lot of plants. Everything was fine and dandy until a few days of rain two weeks ago. 10 of my pepper plants are wilting and I have no idea why. I know they don’t need water. I watered 2 of them and it was evident that’s not the issue.
