Olympus - Recovering Normal Resolution Files (From High-Res mode)

Показать описание
The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II and (Newly Announced) E-M1 Mark II cameras provide a high-resolution shooting mode that stitches 8 images into one single super high resolution image. This does have its pitfalls. If the camera moves (at all) the image can be completely ruined.

Luckily, Olympus provides a normal resolution raw file in addition to the high-res image! This is disguised as a .ORI file. You can either rename it yourself, or you can use my automatic tool to correct hundreds of files all at once (without affecting the others).

I just stumbled upon this little gem – I wish Olympus would just plainly communicate what ORI files are for (very handy, exactly what I need right now). Under Windows tools like Flash Renamer or ReNamer can help to automate the task of just renaming the files.
