My armpits *really* smell, so the few times I've forgotten deodorant before work have been a nightmare. I would go into the bathroom every hour or so and hand sanitizer my armpits. I'm super self conscious about being smelly so I rarely forget it, though.

If you forgot to put deodorant on, just wear your sweater. If you sweat it won't smell, only your sweater will after the day is done, then you can go wash it.
