Welcome to the first episode of the MATURE MAKEUP TAKEOVER series where I go into one of my subscriber's homes, review what they are using and take them shopping for better skin/makeup products.

I absolutely love your compassion. And thank you for not letting us over 50 feel we aren’t worthy of makeup or attention. For some reason women over 50 are only put in brown matte eyeshadows. I’m probably the only one but I would love to see something colorful and vibrant. For some self-love would definitely be the spirit necklace. So stunning.

Linda is a beautiful woman. You're right Gabi, after my son was murdered I didn't really care about anything until one day I picked up my phone and got on youtube and saw you Gabi. I've watched you ever since. You've been a huge inspiration in helping us women of a certain age feel confident and good about ourselves. I know my son would want me to continue living. You brought tears to my eyes when you were saying, "we matter." I just went to the link and the first thing that caught my eye is the "circle of life" necklace, but its all gorgeous. Of couse it would be for myself. I'm trying to learn "self love ".
Edit: When she said menopause, "oh boy, can I relate" It's hard. I've said the same thing Linda has so many times, "I've earned every wrinkle on my face". Another great video, you did it again, Gabi. I can't wait for tomorrow. So excited. Apoloiges for the book written. Love you all. ❤️

Thank you for doing this series Gabi. I’m 62 years old and I stopped wearing makeup many years ago as my then husband did not like it. Speed ahead to today 😊 I am divorced and married a wonderful man who has given me the chance to be myself again and blossom. Wearing makeup is daunting for me and I appreciate your dedicating a series to mature women’s makeup needs. I would love to see a 5 minute face on Linda. The jewelry is gorgeous. I am 71 and recently started taking ballet classes after a 25 or30 year hiatus. I think diamond stud earrings would be a perfect look for a bun head!
I would love to see an every day makeup look on Linda. It is a look we can probably all benefit from in our daily lives.

I am 67 and had not worn makeup more than maybe 3-4 times in the past 15 years. I just threw away that old stuff and have been YT binging and trying out new makeup. Love this new series. Would love to see Linda in a smoky eye. I can no longer wear much eye makeup at 71 mainly due to my extremely dry eyes...I loved doing my eye makeup. My oldest son died three months ago and the grief can be crushing some days. Self-care ... doing my nails, going for a massage, sweating in a sauna . . . has all provided me a bit of comfort. Definitely a smoky eye on Linda as she has beautiful eyes. As far as the GIVEAWAY, I have a step daughter and daughter-in-law that will be turning 30 in April and June. This would be a great way to wish them a beautiful 30th! I think they would love the diamond hoops as they can be worn everyday whether go out for dinner or with a pair of jeans. Definitely keep doing these mature takeovers as they give us all great ways to make us look and feel beautiful!

So needed this...im 56 and since my 50 birthday ive been dealing with profound loss of both my brother & my partner of 30+ years as well as two much loved young cousins.
I buy all the stuff & look after my skin but Ive lost my ability to use makeup to look glamorous . I feel like ive become a shadow of myself.

Fantastic series, Gabi! I’m 58 and after raising a wonderful special needs child the past 19 years, I’ve just now started taking some time for myself to learn about skincare and makeup. I have very dry skin with years of sun damage, worry lines, smile lines (let’s just say “all the lines” 🤣)…and I’m encouraged by you! I just discovered your channel and love your helpful tips. As a 60+ woman, it can be discouraging to see the videos using young models who have yet to experience some of the harshness of aging. I know that many appreciate having a model in our demographic, who is relatable on so many levels. Thank you for that. I would love to see an eye look on Linda using the green liner in something a little dramatic and lovely. The jewelry is all so beautiful, but as a farm wife who takes care of cattle, I lose earrings easily, and don't have pretty hands to show off the stunning rings. I lost a cross necklace some time ago that was dear to me, so my pick would be the cross pendant.
