If that photo were real, I'm sure we all would have seen it many times before now.

One of the saddest stories to come out of the Irish travellers was about twenty of them came from County Cork which decimated that generation from that area. To wake up and know that every one had parished . All of them were under twenty years old except for their chaperone which was an older lady from the village that talked all those kids into going to America. To this day it still effects that area, I saw a documentary on it, just incredibly devastating.

An old school camera couldn't survive. The water is harsh unforgiving . It destroys even iron, metal. A camera ? The type of film they used?

NOT true. Cameras back then used film which would have deteriorated in the sea water.

Violet Jessup was on board of SS Britanic when it sunk too and survived also this disaster. She was truly unsinkable!

In the opening segment, #20, when speaking of the cat, they kept showing two different cats. So which one was the real one?

Interesting, But the part about the Goodwins, who a family with quite a few children. They were in steerage. You said only some of them made it out alive and then perished in poverty, later on. Truth being, they all drowned that night. None were found, but the little baby boy, Sidney (19 months old). He was 'The Unknown (drowned) Baby". DNA linked him 99 years after the Titanic sunk. This information is on every website/page that lists the Goodwin Family.

My Grandfather was born on 4/14/1912, the date the Titanic struck the iceberg. He was born in Milwaukee, WI to immigrants from Norway and Denmark. My grandfather later joined the Navy and served as a Surgeon for 20 years. He served in 3 theaters of Operation (Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific). He also served as a MASH Surgeon in the Korean War.

You only showed one horrifying photo and I seriously question it's authenticity as a Titanic sinking photo. Kodak came out with a handheld camera in 1912 but I seriously doubt that it and the film would have survived this long submerged in salt water. Plus, who in their right mind would stop to take pictures instead of making a beeline for the nearest lifeboat?

This was my first thought that the camera couldn’t come out of the water for that long able to have the pictures come out in good condition.
