Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" YouTube Channel!

This video shows you what it's like to see this old, dirty, ugly lawn mower, that has probably been sitting around outside, under trees or bushes, for many years, and you can see it being taken apart. You can watch while the handlebars are removed, the engine block is taken off, each of the tires wheels are removed and the side grass discharge chute too. Also the front wheel drive mechanism and the rear wheel axle assemblies will be take off and the bolts will be removed with a 3/8" socket driver using a cordless Ryobi 1/4" impact driver which is really great for this type of work when you have a set of socket adapters that can be used with 1/2" 3/8" or 1/4" sockets. Also many wrenches, spanners, channel locks, and vice grips are needed to get all of the hardware bolts screws nuts and bolts washers and stuff freed up. Some of them are on there pretty tight, because they are rusted due to years of neglect, leaving all those grass clippings stuck to the inside bottom of the mower deck, which leaves wet moisture grass on the metal and causes it to rust rot away. Yuck! But anyway, there are still a lot of good spare parts left on this mower, so they will be salvaged for reuse on another machine that is more worth repair. Unfortunately this mower deck is in pretty bad shape and will be scrapped for recycled steel. this mower has a briggs & stratton ready start ohv over head valve 1 cylinder engine motor that uses engine oil and plain gas, not mix gas oil mix. Too bad too, because the self-propelling feature is really nice on these mowers also. but, whatever!
