I actually think this battle is rather fair to both characters. The scenario is admittedly rigged, but i think it also makes it clear that it had to have this format for batman to win. I think this video gives a lot of credit to both characters. Superman is holding back against someone with time to prepare and armor made out of a substance that significantly weakens him and he still almost wins.
