Isabella Manfredi & The Basics perform 'Evie' Part 2 & 3 Dolby

The incomparable beauty, vocal talent and pure chic of Isabella Manfredi is to be seen by all tonight as she so gracefully and melodically floats through the Vanda & Young CLASSIC "Evie", which was originally written for Stevie Wright of The Easybeats fame in 1974. Wright is considered by many to be Australia's first real "Pop" Star and Evie drove Wright's already stellar career through the roof with devastating personal consequences for this once shining star who burnt the candle at both ends leaving him very little in the end.
So remember Stevie Wright young grasshopper when you recall that ancient Chinese Proverb ; "The Candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long".
The Basics which are fronted by Wally De Backer aka Gotye clean up with the part three of Evie with a rather amazing version leaving it all on the line here really hang'in it out for the maximum performance value which they pull off most successfully, just awesome to see Wally bust out the song in such an unbridled fashion 10 out of 10 for me with both Isabella Manfredi and The Basics, I'd like to think that my Subscribers will enjoy this never again to be seen performance!

I've just finish a NEW Pastel Portrait of Isabella from this very performance and it looks amazing if i do say so myself, it simply could've never looked bad as Isabella is so natural and authentically stunning!

Isabella is an awesome vocalist, such a pure sound & a great range.The Rockwiz guys were just brilliant with most of the arrangements written by James Black.Mark Ferrie is just an awesome bass player and Pete Luscombe on the skins, outstanding,awesome in his days with The Sorrows.
