Thank you so much for this video Tara, it was great! My budget as been so wonky since an unplanned extended trip to California last month;( my 86 year old mother passed away after several hospital stays). Between emergency spending, emotional spending and trying to still take care of Thanksgiving and Christmas in the middle of it all; my budget and mind was all over the place! 😂
I love the goal setting you did and I’m definitely going to sit down and follow suit.

My hubby uses his personal money on eating out for lunch 1x a week or so if he wants too-- he gets a little tired of his packed lunch

I also fell out of budgetting horse since october. 😩Juz started revisitting my goals n doin better at stuffing sinking funds. We will get thru this together. 💪🏼

Before I started budgeting, I would buy things on a payment plan, Afterpay, Affirm, and Klarna. There is nothing wrong at all with getting things on those types of plans, but I would get carried away and then get stuck with too many payments all at the same time. I started budgeting and buying was under control, but since Christmas is going to be here soon, I am in a bit of a mess again. However, I'm going to get out and get back to normal eventually. I had to write everything out on paper just to be able to see it for myself. You will get there! I'm always impressed that you save $5 for some of your envelopes but after awhile, that builds up. You can do it! Love watching your videos! And using personal for food is completely fine. I felt bad that you weren't going to get to eat out. It's a treat and you shouldn't be deprived of that.

Hello Tara. Your personal money is whatever you want to do with it. I also I noticed the $10 you put in your gas envelope has a birthday serial number. If you sell that on eBay you will make a more than what it is worth. ☺ Just a tip to help in your cash stuffing journey.

Personal is your spending money. Do with it what you want, including tacos. I hate cooking so i have a weekly restaurant envelope which has helped rein in one of my biggest expenses.
