I just discovered Brakence last week and I’m really impressed but it’s also such a level of angst that I feel like I have to be really careful to take the right messages from it and not poison myself. It’s heavy. He seems almost self aware of it in one song that ends very strangely with a glitchy future PSA from robot overlords who killed Brakence and argued he couldn’t find the line between art and dark magic. It was kinda fascinating.
