DBKshorts | I Might have Met The Best Dutch Knife Maker!?

While visiting the IWA in Germany I met a lot of great people. Among them Gudy van Poppel, a fellow Dutchman! His knife designs can be found all over the world used by big brands like Lionsteel, Fox Knives etc. Not because he can draw so well but because he is an amazing knife smith. He is one of the few people in the Netherlands who actually forges the knives and hand crafts them from start to finish. These knives are art!

I subscribed to this channel in 2020, while I was working in Nederland, with the hope that i see real DUTCH bushcraft knives, so i will know what to buy while i was there, boy i waited a long time to see a local knife maker! Beautiful looking blades. I refer to knives like this as pocket jewelry im sure its more than that, however because they look so nice I would not us them in any heavy way. Beautiful work.
