Gap between ham-ver prior to Checo’s defence was ~8-9 seconds and getting close to giving Ham the VSC pit window and Ham was pulling away from Ver (0.2-0.3 sec/lap but IMO could easily increase the pace had the VSC pit opportunity came). Had the gap grew to 13-14 secs and it was VSC, Ham could have pitted and stayed ahead.

So very critical and legendary from Checo there 👏
