To follow up - my daughter's boyfriend, now 21, had an excellent HLA bone marrow match and underwent high dose chemo as well as total body irradiation for his transplant in March. He was released about a week ago after 4.5 weeks in the hosp. His counts are going up and he had a bout with acute intestinal GVHD while he was in the hosp. He is on Tacrilimus. He did not have Crohn's if fact, he was perfectly healthy.
