One of the things about inventions and scientific discoveries is that they often raise as many questions as they answer. Research can be a great thing, but sometimes it can be confusing, especially when we thought we knew things, but actually, it turns out we didn't. There are quite a lot of those, and today, we are going to tell you about 10 Questions No One Knows the Answer To.
Do you like cats? We certainly do. If you have a cat in your life, then the chances are that you've heard it purr. But while you might think that it's doing that because it is happy, we actually don't know why cats purr. We also aren't entirely sure how they purr, either. Believe it or not, they don't have an organ that's responsible for purring.
In the winter, have you ever slipped on ice? Well, the reason that ice is slippery is because there is a film of liquid water on top of it. However, what we don't know is why that film of water is there. We thought it was because of human body weight putting pressure on it, but science has shown that that was not the case.
