Strada'a AI » (EP.125)

I have no stake in Strada and currently don't know anyone at the company. After watching their Beta Launch Event I do, however, feel that what they have cooking might be VERY useful to many of us in production and post going forward. It's the kind of AI I'm all for!

This is fascinating and seems to start solving some really dicey problems in the professional space. I will be very interested to see where they go with this product--and what influence it has in onset practices. The other thing that I'll be curious to see is if more camera manufacturers, and sound recorders integrate the ability to get footage into the cloud as soon as it's shot. The other thing that might be interesting is if Strada could automate tools to automatically perform operations as footage shows up. For instance, when audio footage is added to a bin, have it automatically translated into multiple languages and create captions as well so that by the time the editor starts working with it the asset is completely prepped.
