Apart from all the excellent tips and technical comments I think the most touching part is when at 6:00 you ask us not to use burst mode (first thing an amateur photographer like me would do :) ) and to wait: "the animal will give you a chance .... a few seconds".
This is a great lesson of seeking for the real connection between living beings. Genuine photography. Thank you very much

1/13s and 800 in early light! A very strong demonstration of what you're able to accomplish with this approach. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I like the suggestion of a beanbag. I think it will be helpful for leaning on surfaces that don't support a tripod.

If there is one take away for me.. it was conscious use of auto-focus distance switch for faster auto-focus. Great tip!

Experience speaks, extreme experience is inevitably visible. Excellent explanation by real time capture. Many thanks Sir.

Good tips on subject movement and camera technique but I'm not with you on using 1/13 just to get ISO down. ISO 3200 would have given 1/50, a better chance of sharp images and easy to clean up in post. Yes you'll lose about two stops of DR but when the light is dull and flat... 🙂

Excellent tip for low light. Are your stills being saved to the Ninja or to the cards in the camera?
