I did some math. It costs a gross of $1000/day to live a middle-class life in Australia. This includes taxes, rent/mortgage, essentials (food, clothing, etc.), transportation, utilities, and a small entertainment budget. On the other end, the job opportunities are mediocre at best. There is very little opportunity to save money.

Additionally, labour productivity is at 2016 levels which means you have 2024 prices at 2016 wages. This is the reality of Australia. Don't come here; there's nothing for you.
