Today I am riding from Kashan to Tehran in Iran. I need to sort out a couple of things in Tehran, but the most important thing I need to find out: will I get my visa for Turkmenistan??

I went to Iran by bicycle from switzerland during 6 months... Iran and also Turkey are just an amazing heart warming trip . beautiful people . I love them all .

The repair shop actually did 2 favours.
1. Opened their shop during holidays.
2. The sign behind you in the shop reads; " no customers allowed in the shop absolutely". They ignored that as well😀

Being from the US, Noraly has provided an alternative perspective to Iran. It's not the Iran I see in the news. It seems that without fail, everyone you've met there has been friendly, generous to a fault, courteous and kind. They truly seem happy you're there and want to help you in any way they can. Iranians are very respectful and kind people .and they would do any thing for you when you need help .

My brother sent me a video of your trip across Iran yesterday and I was hooked instantly!
But nothing prepared me for what came in this video. Low and behold that apartment building at the end of the alley in 3:24 was were I grew up till I was 12 years old! World is indeed a small place :)
