Jennifer Love Hewitt went for a big style switch up to welcome the chillier days ahead, documenting her transformation from long blond locks to red bob on Instagram – and many fans couldn’t believe it was her after seeing the shocking before and after pics.

Hairstylist Nikki Lee shared a Reel showing the process of chopping off the “9-1-1” star’s long, wavy locks into a sleek, short bob and dying it a rich cinnamon hue, with Hewitt giving the camera a kiss as she tousles her new ‘do.

The 44-year-old mom of three also shared her own pics showing off the fresh look, writing, “Before and After! @nikkilee901 Ready for Fall🎃🧡.”
