The first 10 minutes or so of this mix were played on WDR 2 German radio in 1986 by Antonia Langsdorf in her show and she admired how much one can get out of this song. I so much agreed but never heard the mix again until today and in full bliss am doing a relistening. After 35 years, still powerful stuff.

I remember hearing this version for the first time in late May 1986. It was hot, dry and Summer was on the horizon in New York and KISS FM was Pumping this and Monster Jams like this all Summer long before I entered the Navy. I first heard this back in '86 when my family and I were just leaving out of Six Flags Magic Mountain on our way back to Compton.

Shockwave standup coaster was brand new at the time and we had a blast on all the rides.
