Mrs Stix and I have always been pretty big fans of the survival genre. We've played every new survival game announced over the last few years, and here we are, in December 2020, jumping into yet another one - Tree of Life: Oddria! An upcoming co-operative survival game!

I'm curious where Tree of Life: Oddria! is going to end up going in the future, and am more than happy to have been presented the opportunity to play the game ahead of it releasing to the public.

This is a 'sequel' to 'Tree of Life' that came out a couple years ago. You can still find it on Steam, with an 'Very Negative' overall review.
I wouldn't get excited yet, the footage in this new trailer is from their original trailers!
Hopefully the devs learned from the first time. But I feel like this is basically Bless - same game, new packaging to milk players of their money.

They remade this game it used to just be "Tree of Life" It was fun, but the game itself had no security and had lots of hackers. Also, poor to no development, bugs, etc. I hope they're doing better this time. The game flopped fast.

Considering how Tree of Life itself wound up (it was super P2P if I remember correctly, and had a horrible way of handling PvP to boot) this doesn't excite me. And this new game looks like the old game, just with some new mechanics in it and I'm sure lots of nice stuff to buy in the game's shop. Hopefully OddOneGames doesn't mess this one up like they did with the original game.

Yeah i remember this game felt abandoned and getting pk’d not being able to progress. I wouldn’t touch this game unless its free.

ok, when he said that NPCs gave the game a certain personality. that just does not work. SOO many games have NPCs, and this game looks like the NPC interaction is pretty basic NGL.
