OK, it's a two stroke, water cooled and running a one way clutch, but doesn't sound like a 582, what is it, what sort of reduction and why the large radiator?

Interesting, most of the Honda's used are four stroke Civic engines.
This sounds like an outboard?

Youre right. didnt fly it that day. didnt have the tail numbers. And to answer the engine question, it is not a honda or an outboard. its a rotax twin

if this jet has so bad fame of crushes due to engine failures... why none is talking about replaing with other safer well known engines?
