I want to dearly dearly thank you for making your video on St. John in the wall church. I saw your original video on it a week before I was going to tour the Bristol uni and by total luck I just so happened to be staying at the Clayton hotel, just a building or two up the road from St. John’s.

So both today and yesterday, me and my father went down to visit the church and it is every bit as incredible as you said. One of the members of the church preservation society by the name of Doug was very kind and showed a around the church include both the wall paintings and took us up into the bell tower and even rung some of the bells for us!

We were short on time so we came back today and met Derek the Cryptkeeper who showed us the crypts missing from your original video and they are ASTOUNDING! To thank that was once an open air church in the time just after the plague is incredible to me. So I just want to thank you again for that video or I would have undoubtedly missed my single favorite part of Bristol. It (as well as st Mary Redcliff) will definitely factor in when deciding which uni go to!! :)

Your elocution and the history-related video content are absolutely fantastic! I may have never met you in person, but hearing you speak so eloquently and with such grace about historical topics is a pleasure. Your public speaking skills have clearly progressed beautifully, and I genuinely hope to see more of your captivating history videos in the future. Your words resonate deeply and provide both enlightenment and joy. Keep up the excellent work, and thank you for sharing your talent for history with us!"🎉

That marker on Park Street is close to the manhole that lets you access the conduit. Inside was a pipe made up of lead sections and it was one man's job to ensure that the water always flowed. I believe you can also gain access through the locked archway behind the folk house. I always wanted to go down it. Great video.

I was excited seeing your shorts and announcement for longform videos, since I don't use Tiktok, but having the Zelda music means I'm vibing with this channel harder than I expected.

As wrong as Zelda gets a lot of archetecture, I still have to give it credit for making me curious about this flavor of history in the first place!
