Έπειτα από οκτώ χρόνια, η καρδιά του Παγκόσμιου Πρωταθλήματος Ράλι θα χτυπήσει και πάλι στην Ελλάδα, στον αγώνα που αποτελεί συνώνυμο της προσπάθειας για ανθρώπους και της αντοχής για μηχανές και θα διεξαχθεί από τις 9 έως τις 12 Σεπτεμβρίου με κέντρο τη Λαμία.Το ΕΚΟ Acropolis Rally, ο ένατος γύρος του WRC για το 2021, συγκεντρώνει 55 συμμετοχές, με τη σχετική λίστα να διακρίνεται για την ποιότητα των πληρωμάτων.Οι τρεις εργοστασιακές ομάδες των Toyota, Hyundai και M-Sport Ford αναμένονται πάνοπλες στη χώρα μας, τη στιγμή που και στις κατηγορίες WRC2 και WRC3 συναντάμε όλους τους διεκδικητές των σχετικών τίτλων.Παράλληλα, κορυφαία ελληνικά πληρώματα θα μετρήσουν τις δυνάμεις τους τόσο απέναντι στο διεθνή ανταγωνισμό, όσο και μεταξύ τους.Για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία του ο αγώνας θα «περάσει» μέσα από το κέντρο της πρωτεύουσας, δημιουργώντας ένα μοναδικό σκηνικό, με την εικόνα να μεταδίδεται σε κάθε γωνιά του πλανήτη.Η κεντρικότερη πλατεία της Ελλάδας θα φιλοξενήσει το ΕΚΟ Ράλλυ Ακρόπολις, αποτελώντας το σημείο όπου το Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Ράλλυ θα «συστηθεί» σε κάθε πολίτη ή επισκέπτη της Αθήνας.Στο εσωτερικό της πλατείας, από το πρωί της Τετάρτης 8 Σεπτεμβρίου, οι χορηγοί του αγώνα θα υποδέχονται το κοινό στα ειδικά διαμορφωμένα περίπτερά τους, όπου θα διεξάγονται διάφορες δράσεις και εκδηλώσεις. Παράλληλα, στο χώρο της πλατείας θα φιλοξενηθεί και έκθεση αγωνιστικών και κλασικών ιστορικών αυτοκινήτων. Η διέλευση θα είναι ελεύθερη, τηρουμένων των μέτρων προστασίας από την πανδημία.Ειδικότερα για την Πέμπτη 9 Σεπτεμβρίου, οι δρόμοι γύρω από την Πλατεία Συντάγματος θα συνθέσουν τη μήκους 0,98 χλμ. πρώτη ειδική διαδρομή του αγώνα, COSMOTE 5G Athens Stage, από όπου στις 18:08 θα ακουστεί και ο πρώτος αγωνιστικός ήχος του ΕΚΟ Ράλλυ Ακρόπολις!

After eight years, the heart of the World Rally Championship will beat again in Greece, in the race that is synonymous with effort for people and endurance for machines and will be held from 9 to 12 September with center Lamia. The EKO Acropolis Rally, the ninth round of the WRC for 2021, gathers 55 entries, with the relevant list being distinguished for the quality of the crews. The most central square of Greece will host the EKO Rally Acropolis , being the point where the World Rally Championship will be "introduced" to every citizen or visitor of Athens. Inside the square, from the morning of Wednesday, September 8, the sponsors of the race will welcome the public in their specially designed stands, where various actions and events take place. At the same time, an exhibition of racing and classic historical cars will be hosted in the square. Passage will be free, subject to pandemic protection measures. Especially for Thursday, September 9, the roads around Syntagma Square will compose the 0.98 km long first special route of the race, COSMOTE 5G Athens Stage, from where at 18:08 the first racing sound of EKO Rally Acropolis will be hear
