I'm a 67 year old black man born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. ('Been long gone.) I have loved Carlos Santana continuously since I was 14 years old. (I have fond memories of my mother cleaning the house to his music.) Everybody should read his book 'The Universal Tone.'

Carlos is unmatched in talent and style. But let’s not forget his ability to find musicians to accompany his music as though they have all been jamming and growing together for 50 years!

I am 74 and moved south many years ago. I enjoyed Santana when I was younger. But up until today I had not heard his music in many years. So refreshing and enjoyable! It is so very cool watching folks from around the world enjoying the same music!

One of the greatest guitarist that ever strap a guitar. I been a fan since 1969 and his music has never let me down. ORALĚ!

That man has forgotten more about playing the guitar than most people can learn in a lifetime. And still he blows everyone out of the water. it nearly made me jump to my feet and dance like crazy. And I am in a wheelchair. hehe. And Cindy is a marvellous drummer. And Thal on the base, this couldn't get better.

I came here for the one and only Tal Wilkenfeld. And I got SO much more! What an artist Cindy is as well. How great it must be to have 2 such enormous talents in 1 marriage that they can also share! 🙏🏻

My Dad and I got in the truck to go somewhere way back in the day and he put this on. I said, "What's this?" We usually listened to Gordon Lightfoot, the Doobie Brothers or ELO. He looked me right in the eyes and said, "Something different." I was instantly loving it. My Dad always knows great music. Thank you for continuing the love and greatness!!

When we walked out of the theater after watching WOODSTOCK, we confirmed what our radios already knew: Carlos Santana was a major force in our lives. And he continues to be.

I cannot love this enough! People coming together with their talents from all over the world, making music together…wow. And, clearly, a magnificent team of editors to bring it together in such a seamless way. Pure magic.

Grew up listening to Carlos as a child in the 80s, amongst many other fantastic musicians. But to this day, I can still say this Latin Fusion into Rock is just utterly Devine. Everyone should own a copy of Abraxas, change my mind!

These videos are just what the doctor ordered. With the horrific shooting in Texas, this is just the kind of balm the soul needs. Music is a universal language that we all speak and I love it! Thank you so very much for this wonderful project and sharing these videos.

I want to thank all involved in this video, because you all hit it and were tight! Next, I want to thank those behind this wonderful, necessary project Playing For Change, because our world needs now more than ever. Lastly to my king of strings Carlos Santana; I saw you at Tanglewood when you and your band were touring your debut album with the lions head Santana. I was 14 years old and what you did on stage that day was put me on a long road of many great years as a lead guitarist in Bar bands. I cherish every moment I can remember. So thank you Carlos Santana and of course Santana for that gift to me, because music changes everything and makes good things happen.
