I found out how to do backface culling. On the bar on the top click tools<optimize and select culling, and press confirm.
Edit: you will need the optimize plugin

I was trying to make a party hat, but for some reason the lightning rod was just the same. I did all the steps tho !

it wont work for me when i try to put the blockbench texture i made into my texture packs folder it doesnt give me the option to replace it so it wont work for me of course

hey when i did the top hat following exactly what you did, it just appeared as a missing texture, the model was working but the texture was broken

What'll happen if you saved the lightning rod model (That's actually a top hat) but misspelled it, or called it something other than "lightning_rod"? With textures, it becomes purple and black, but what about models?

for some reason i cant do tthe crafting table thing but when i (without a tutorial) tried among us with custom textures it worked XD

ive added a 3d model to the ladder which works when the item is held in the players hand but as soon as i place it down it reverts to using the old model how do i fix this

My textures aren't working, and I checked all the files and everything should be fine, it's just purple and black. Nice tutorial though
