Euchre is actually one of my favorite card games. Everything Lois and Satan said is 100% accurate, though, trust me, the game is far less complicated than they make it sound. Contract Bridge, however... that's a lot more complicated, both in the bidding and especially in the scoring.

Sounds like a "best learned as you play" type game. Then again, most board and card games tend to be like that.

This is why you should have a "scout": Someone who takes the time to read and fully understand the rules beforehand, and can then translate that to the other new players in a simplified, "lay-man's terms" manner.
