EQUIPMENT

Two JbJ surface skimmers (help surface scum and also raises the water level)

Two ai hydra 26 HDs

Settings on ai hydra

Royal blue 85%
Cyan blue 85%
Whites 8% ( preference )
Violet 65%
UV 75%
Green 5%
Red0%

ai prime on backside to power refugium growing chaeto algae

Custom caddy insert to hold refugium algae or media

Using chemi pure
Or basic charcoal when I have it

New DC Nuvo skimmer from IM

Bio pellet reactor from IM (desktop size)

DOSING-
*Bionic Calcium / alkalinity two part
Amino acids/vitamins by Aquavitro "fuel"
(Using recommended dosage per 25g system = 2ML a day)
*hand dosing magnesium (red sea) as needed since I go about 4 weeks per 5g water change

Holy crap that’s the best looking tank I’ve ever seen

About 4 years ago I got my son a goldfish tank for Christmas. I knew nothing about really keeping a tank, keep in mind. I hopped on youtube to figure it out. About an hour later down the rabbit hole I stumbled across this video. From that moment I breathed, slept and dreamed reef tanks. I had to get one. After about 3 months, 10k youtube videos and 10k dollars I got my first saltwater tank. I'm still terrible at it but man am I having fun. I still come back to this video in hopes I can have a tank some what remotely beautiful as this. This tank is a masterpiece. P.S the goldfish tank went to the dump lol!

This tank is absolutely brilliant! It is without question the best nano reef tank (in my opinion). The first time I spotted it, my jaw hit the floor!
This nano has become my inspiration for future builds. My next nano tank is going to be the "IM 25g Lagoon" I can't wait to see what he creates in his new larger build! It would be amazing if he could make weekly updates on the new tank. I watched his aquascaping video on the new tank. I hope he makes many, many more videos on the process of making something that ends up looking like this tank...

No fancy gear and over complicated and even just one mp40qd and pretty much nothing else to make water movement and still some of the most healthy/puffy and colerfull corals i ever seen, , inspiring 💎

That's what i'm talking about look at the varieties of colors. It's just not greens or different variations of greens. It's a little bit of everything. What a beautiful tank.
