MAGNITUDA 10, festival povezovanja sodobnega plesa in neodvisnih umetniških praks

V 2017 bomo na Centru plesa poskrbeli za tektonske premike, saj obeležujemo 10 let delovanja. Naša vizija ob nastanku je medel spomin, niti sanjalo se nam ni, da bomo zgolj z ljubeznijo do plesa in s trdim delom po 10ih letih z nasmehom pogledali, kaj smo ustvarili. V 2017 se bo zvrstila vrsta plesnih dogodkov, umetniških intervencij in še in še. Posebej smo ponosni na mlade plesalce, ki z veseljem obiskujejo našo hišo in na vezi, ki jih sklepamo z drugimi umetniki, posebej v Mariboru, saj verjamemo, da je v slogi moč. Maribor is the future! Bliža se potres!

Segrevanje plesnega ozračja začinjamo s kratkimi plesnimi videi, ki so produkt dela plesalcev in pedagogov Centra plesa. To niso profesionalni plesni videi, to je prikaz dela naših predanih pedagogov in njihovih učencev; nekateri so profesionalni plesalci, nekateri čisti začetniki. Druži jih Center plesa, plesna hiša s srcem in smislom za humor!

MAGNITUDE 10, the festival of integration of contemporary dance and independent artistic practices

In 2017, we at the Dance Centre will provide for tectonic movements, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Our vision at the beginning is a faint memory, we had no clue we could, just with the love of dance and hard work, after 10 years look back and smile at what we have created. 2017 will bring a host of dance events, artistic interventions and more and more. We are particularly proud of the young dancers who delight in visiting the Centre and of the bonds we form with other artists, especially in Maribor, because we believe there is power in unity. Maribor is the future! An earthquake is approaching!
To spice up the atmosphere there will be short dance videos that are a result of the work of dancers and instructors of the Dance Centre. These are not professional dance videos, but a way to show the work of our dedicated instructors and their pupils; some are professional dancers, some rookies. They come together at the Dance Centre, a dance school with a heart and a sense of humor!
