In "Expiration Date", Scout is shown to be so committed to being likeable to ms.Pauling that he asks Spy to help him get ladies (ms.Pauling). This is after their meeting (which was ruined by Scout) on what they assume is their last 48 hours before the tumors kill them (from teleporters). And after the defeat of the giant bread tumor monster, and finding out that the tumors from teleporters only grow on bread. Scout and ms.Pauling try and see if she has free time in her schedule for a date.

And ms.Pauling being weird is cannon as she's shown to have little experience in understanding social queues. Her line of work prevents her from talking to a large pool of people outside of briefings on targets from the Announcer. Meaning that if she somehow has time to be committed to a relationship with Scout she would look for ways to have fun within the relationship. Going from dates to dirty magazines from around the world. This means it is possible for ms.Pauling to theoretically try this after going through a giant list of things to do in their relationship. And it going like in the video, as Scout is terrible at understanding social queues aswell as shown by him failing in every way possible in doing what Spy Taught him to act while in the presence of a lady.
