Lawrence man dies trying to save mother and her son in New Hampshire river

State Police say 37-year-old Vincent Parr of Lawrence jumped into the Swift River in Albany, N.H. to help a mother and her child who were stuck. WBZ-TV's Louisa Moller reports.

Happens every year. The rivers of mountain Washington valley look shallow and safe. I grew up swimming in the river so I was aware that it can be dangerous after rain fall, sadly tourists don’t know that, or how slippery a waterfall fall or cliff can be with the pine needles and slime
