Let’s also acknowledge that they have increased MSRP’s over 40% over the past few years. They (and other manufacturers) have priced these out of the reach of the average consumer.

It isn't about advertising. It's about how much they cost. A bare bones RAM 1500 shouldn't cost 42k. It literally shouldn't. When FORD and GM are more affordable that should be an indicator.

they are trying to sell $100k Dodge Ram Pickup trucks, $50k Jeep Wranglers, i'm sorry but no, they are priced too high

Ignoring the actual problem of a new car costing more than some houses and loans that have high interest rates…. It’s every auto maker

Stellantis is a plaque. Never should have been created. FCA should have stayed as it was and kept CDJR the way it should have been instead of where it is now going. Now, CDJR is close to being dead thanks to Stellantis. Never mix American with foreign. Stellantis should have sold CDJR a few months back when they had the chance. Stellantis took over, prices skyrocketed, reliability took a dump, and the demise of all the V8's has brought CDJR to a dead stop and close to it's demise

People can't afford any new car/truck.
Any of them.

My local Ram dealer is offering $20, 000 rebates on trucks Yep $20, 000. What a joke.

Simple, they got greedy and decided to price out the average person, doubling down by adding huge markups...it is beyond belief how they have slit thier own throats by going against there roots and turning against the very customers who made them!

Big Problem less quality interest rates economy you see some dealerships have still brand new 2022 and 2023 unsold Rams and other brands America 🇺🇸 it’s not the same anymore other problem warranty it’s short which people switch to others brands to expensive insurance cost 💲 life become to expensive banks 🏦 it’s another problems with the rates 😢

Reading the comments, I'm not the only one that can't afford a new vehicle. So it's plain and simple why they are on a downhill slide. I'm curious if they were to actually ditch these brands... who's waiting to scoop them up. Hopefully not a European... Hopefully someone from North America, that would design vehicles we would actually want. It has nothing to do with Marketing, its the design style. So get rid of the French and European styling!! ... but with all this stock! SWEET! Will there be Jeep deals to be had!

Get rid of the dealerships. They’re an outdated business model and Americans should really just order direct from the factory

Don't forget that also over the years the Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth (Mopar), and Jeep brands have had enough quality issues to make them less attractive to consumers. Just like other auto manufacturers these days, you can't produce junk and change a premium for it without disenfranchising and losing your customer base. These auto companies need to stop cutting corners and use quality materials, pay and treat their employees well enough for them to feel like caring about their jobs and the quality of work they do, pay their executives something a little less exorbitant, cut their profit margins, start standing up to government agency mandates that add to the production costs, and sell their vehicles at reasonable prices if they want to stay in business.

No, it's not bad marketing. It's overpricing your product for the market.

Feel like the plants might be moving to China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, or Africa soon.

UAW:- "How dare you close the auto plants we voted for Bunker J0e and the DNC and will make you pay dearly by taking Jeep/Dodge and Ram from you without compensation and now we will own these brands."

Fire the Americans Workers to save that $39 million dollar pay check, great leadership right there.

High volume vertical manufacturing is the future of mobility, not brand loyalty. Time for legacy auto to move away from being assemblers back to manufacturers.
