idk calico is the first time i've ever felt like my money on a game was truly wasted. it's pricey for something that doesn't feel like a finished product beyond character creation. it felt buggy and empty and honestly a bit like a scam as there wasn't much game actually beyond the character creation. maybe they've updated it since then, idk. it felt like a game test more than an actual game they charged me money for. i think we should have some standards for games even if they are "cozy", such as not feeling empty and incomplete.

I actually don’t mind combat in my cozy games! It makes them interesting for me. There’s already many cozy games without combat out there and there aren’t a lot of cozy games (like loftia, puff pals, palia and many more) that have combat. I just wish that there was a game out there with the same aspects of decoration and building/farming and first person but with combat if that makes sense?

I played Calico when it was pretty new a while ago. it is a great game and it is the one game I 100% (and then I spedran it, getting all the achievements again) that is to say, there isn't the most content, also when playing on pc, the controls for the cooking minigames were a little janky for me. overall, it was a really cute game and I enjoyed it severely. Had like a week were it was the only game I played.

Since the new update for Palia it's runs AWFUL on switch. When it came out it ran so smoothly. Now it's barely loading characters, textures and Dialogs.
