I've Created a MONSTER! My AMG G63 on the Nurburgring

My AMG G63 has become an absolute MONSTER now that it has the Akrapovic exhaust and RENNtech tune, so let's take it to the max speed on the Autobahn and a hot lap at the Nurburgring! Despite appearances, it's quite an impressive thing as you'll see during my first lap of the Green Hell.

For my final day prior to part 2 of my big USA tour, the journey takes me from Frankfurt back to London for an 800km (500 mile) drive via the Nurburgring. It sadly means leaving my Supra there which I won't be back with for quite a while but an opportunity to have some fun with the G Wagon.

First up is a run on the Autobahn to hear it roar and despite the size and weight pick up speed impressively. Then it's to the Ring to meet up with Misha @mgcharoudin to try out something new with a full lap during Touristenfahrten on board the G63. I'm not quite sure what the other traffic will have made of being overtaken by such a big off-roader, but needless to say it was a LOT of fun.

I enjoyed your ride on the Nürburgring myself as a spectator. I know that SUVs don't necessarily have the best reputation, but this car is really worth so much irrationality. Assuming the necessary small change, I would also enjoy this car so much that I would consider buying it. 😀👍👍👍

I can't imagine what the drivers in those small cars were thinking when seeing your beast barrelling towards them like a rocket ship. Top-quality entertainment, you are the MAN. Well done.

The G63 is my new favourite car. Imposing, incredible V8 sound, fast, you will laugh like a complete idiot during every single lap you do on a racetrack and still be relaxed and chilled on the way home. Great video Tim and what a gem of a car.
