The fact that “fresh foods and beverages” are available at your beck and call, almost anytime during your journeys in India, is a privilege that doesn’t exist in many parts of the world.
This very aspect is greatly fascinating for Basil during her train journeys in India. Being Indian and Italian, food is almost synonymous to life for both of us. So when we are traveling in Indian trains, both of us eat whatever we can get our hands on, only to keep wanting more. Every region the train passes through, brings its own unique flavors served right at your seat.
This hard working community deserves a lot more love and appreciation than they actually get. So the next time you are traveling in India, remember this video, smile and acknowledge this hard working community ❤️🙏🏽

Oh my god this brought back so many memories. Back in the days when whole family used to travel by train and the best part was we used to make friends with the other people sitting around us, this reel brought back the same nostalgia. the chai wala saying -- paani bottle coldrink frooti. all the elders used to drink chai and moms used to buy us maaza and frooti. The summer vacations were incomplete without a train journey and this brought back so many memories. thank you aam and basil for this,
