1.open dev settings and enable oem unlocking and usb debugging and miui unlock a little bit harder.
2.download the same things as he did twrp and magisk and boot into fastboot mode and using adb debugging you can load twrp
3.from twrp just install as he did in the video and you're done

I need to root it for a chance to transfer the obsolete app from Android 12 to 13, as their Mi Mover failed to transfer the App Data. Asked Xiaomi customer service in Singaore, they said it will void my 2 years warranty. Do you know if they have a way to check if it's rooted? I am very careful with my phone, just that this is a stupid issue that Xiaomi's software is lousy. Samsung Smart Switch for their Android devices at least works, till Android 13. But not from Xiaomi (redmi) to another Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Need it for work, and now I have to bring the old Samsung Phone out :(
