Label Inspection System for print quality and variable data verification

As a standalone system, Roll Inspector easily slip in-between the press and rewinder for 100% print quality assurance.

A DISCOVERY Maxscan linear scanner provides undistorted, true 600dpi images to Roll Inspector for a wide range of print quality and variable data checks in real-time.

Any defects are recorded on a roll map (for subsequent label error correction at an Inspection Station), the error displayed on the user interface and an alarm issued. Optionally the press can be stopped if a gross or recurring error occurs.
