I found EVE NG easier than GN3 in the long run and highly recommend this functionality even for home owners to practice configurations before applying them. All MT has do, is add an options package for CHR --> zero trust cloudflare tunnel ;-).

very cool - i've used GNS3 and switched to EVE, cause of the Startup-Script option.
i wrote a small bash script to replace the interface names from the production-backup configs to put it directly as startup config in eve.

Hello. I have installed EVEng on a linux box. I use a remote windows workstation to access the EVEng software. QUESTION: the images for the virtual devices-- must they only be "Cisco IOL (IOS on Linux)" images, or can they be "qcow2" images? Thank you!

Druvis, just one thing is missing ! Direct winbox console ! Yes, I'm familiar with the cli, rommon, etc. But it will be nice if users can just click on the vMT device and get a winbox window ! We tried to do that in the last "pnet lab" version. And we did ! But with a trick . We add an extra script that will add an ip address to one of the ports and add a Nat to reach the device with the winbox . But users can't use that port anymore, and the port is dedicated to the winbox ! A better implementation needs your help ! Please help us 🙏
