After nearly 4 years of waiting, boundearth is here! This project is supposed to be a love/thank you letter to the MOTHER community over the years. A huge majority of this was animated by me. For the parts that weren't by me, I'll list the animators below. Also, imma be real, this whole thing could've been done within a year, especially considering that from the end of Fourside to the end of the video was all done in 2024. And that's more than half of the video lmao. All of Giygas was done within 3 weeks of uploading this. Thing is, I'm very lazy so I procrastinated a lot during production. So if you died or something while waiting for this to drop, my bad. Also, did you know? This was originally meant to be a Team Level UP animation, for a 10 minute duration. Yeah... Maybe it's a good thing I decided to not do that anymore lmfao. No offense Nelly. So, yeah maybe this could be considered my magnum opus for now. I have plenty of other project ideas in store but I'd like to rest for a bit after this. Hope you understand. :)

No joke, this feels like a modernized Earthbound. The way it's silly to an utterly stupid degree most of the time, yet is so earnest in its seriouser moments completely captures same amount of genuine care and passion that went into the original game. There was so much love and soul put into this, and just to say that it shows would be doing this film an incredible disservice. The fact that you might be working on a Mother 3 animation of (most likely) similar caliber when this itself is amazing on its own and could be its only thing you make shows the boundless passion you have for this series. This movie truly has it all.
Humor, Heart, Fight Scenes, The weird subplot of Sakurai and musicians getting together to form a new Smash Bros game together, The Music References, all of it gives off such a unique experience none like any other, probably because no one has ever attempted an EarthBound movie before, and I'm glad to say this one struck out as being amazing with the amount of time and effort this must of taken.
Also Toriel coming out of no where to help the kids with the Sphinx puzzle was adorable.

I've never beaten earthbound. I had a very solid run about 60% the way through, and then my laptop killed itself and I lost everything. This has both completely revitalised my desire to play it again, and made the story so engaging that Im hooked despite knowing half of it already

I love how ness is depicted in this. I would expect a prepubescent child tasked to save the world to be a little insane and i love him for it.

... ok but finishing the video. I expected a simple parody and I genuinely came out crying. There is love for earthbound woven into the pure fabric of this video. I can't express my love for this whole movie enough :)

I had the pleasure of watching YP Corp work on this from day 1 all the way to the premiere. While I was constantly nagging him during his long breaks from animating to finish what he started, I never would have believed anyone if they told me it resulted in him grinding out a nearly 2 hour video. The mans drive is crazy, he animated like a machine in the last few months before release.

What once started as a planned 20 minute animation for a different channel slowly built up more and more runtime until eventually, it passed the one hour mark. It had its own little charming subplots, and wasn't just a plain old retelling of Earthbound. Every meaning of the word has a personality. You could see bits and pieces of YP Corps own little interests sprout as he animated, and it made the whole experience of watching 10x better.

The last almost 4 years have been an amazing ride, take a well deserved break < 3 Congratulations YP
