after a long search and trial and error, I found my ideal combination for extreme macro photography, also with living subjects, up to the image size 5:1 - Equipment parts: Nikon D850 full frame DSLR, Venus LAOWA 25mm F/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra-Macrolens, rail and parts of Sinar P2 (convertible large format view camera), heavy duty 2-Way Pan/Tilt Tripod Head, Nikon SB-5000 flash, Manfrotto backlite stands, Manfrotto pump cups, Nikon WR-R10 wireless remote transceiver and remote transmitter, Novoflex accessories, Induro baby tripod, LED lights, Power bank.

well...lots of swiss made accesories there but I think, probably a chinese towel paper will be great covering these two flashes, the light is EXTREMEly harsh.

Superb video. I have never seen such a stable and well engineered configuration. Like the way you photograph aquatic plants. Interesting way to light the subject from below.

I've tried various techniques, but eventually thought of an idea where a high quality reversed autofocus lens can be combined with a reverse lens autofocus adapter, and optionally with extension tubes. The reverse lens adapter I don't currently have because it's so expensive (also made by only by Novoflex) but could let me use my camera's focus bracketing function as well as letting me set up the aperture. The one thing that I don't know yet about the adapter, is if it can allow for image stabilization to be kept. There are many ways of doing super macro, but I wished that I'd gone with a Laowa lens instead perhaps.
