Pentecosta here when I went to a Baptist church was awkward but they preached the word of God the way is supposed to be preached. Love Baptist brothers and all Born again Christians God bless y'all our redemption is near.

This was me one time feeling the spirit and a friend had came to church with me. I guess she though I was sad when I was really feeling the spirit and she places her hand on my shoulder trying to comfort me. 🙈🤣

Former Pentecostal here. I became disgruntled at the amount of people faking being slain in the spirit. We had a lady in her 40s constantly falling out in convulsions during praise songs and the band wild have to keep playing while people laid hands on her. I got sick of missing NFL kickoff of Sunday so when she did it again one Sunday I ran up to the front and starting yelling “give her some room, I know CPR, call an ambulance!” She immediately stopped and sat up and said “no, I’m okay!!!” The praise leader looked at me with daggers for eyes but I didn’t have to wait for 20 minutes of foolish, fake falling out!!! Made it home for kickoff!

Same here ....i just went last week...almost traumatized...😮😅couldnt believe it....i thought this a market...no order at all....i mean people sshouting i couldnt concentrate...i had to talk to a brother from anotger church and he said to me i need this church for now the do fight the enemy ...im dealing with this problem for years i need deliverance. They are powerful strong fighters....in my church they didnt take seriously the spiritual battle im dealing with....i got lost in my town found a church that happenened to be pentecostal the fist day when the prayed for me fears were truly gone and i had no nightmares for a long time. I will go but i will need my loop earplugs also as hsp and introvert it's a huge huge challenge to me.

I grew up Catholic. Still remember the time I visited a Pentecostal church because a person at my gym invited me. Almost had an anxiety attack 😅

One time my tio invited a baptist to our church, the baptist got upset because he thought everyone was being disrespectful to our pastor 💀 ig they don’t yell PREACH or clap lol

I grew up in Methodist Church. My brother was won to Christ by his best friend. He went to his friend's church and repented of his sins, was baptized, and received the holy ghost. Over the next several years, my parents and my little brother and I were won to Christ, repented, baptized in Jesus' Name, and were filled with the holy ghost.
But the first Pentacostal service I went to, it scared me half to death. I thought people were possessed.
A Methodist Church, you sing from a song book, and are silent for the Preachers' message.
With Pentacostals, Pastor could go over and ask them to add specific songs. If singing praise music for 2 hours got the Holy Ghost moving, there wasn't a full sermon given.
It is not uncommon for people to get out of their seats, run, or jump during praise and worship.
It is not uncommon for the congregation to comment, clap, praise God DURING the preachers message.
It was a completely different world.
I am so thankful for God and how he moved. I can't imagine my life without him!

as a Baptist if this is one of those loud youth centered churches that I have been too that sound like the people there are bursting a lung out then count me out I'll sing quiet hymns. going to one of those feels like being in a extra loud earthquake but with modern youth rock.😏

I am bapist, and my dad grew up in a pentecostal church. A year ago we went there because my dad wanted to go back.
They played at least a 15 minute long worship song
It wasn't as crazy in there as most memes say it is
