Ampero Noise Fix #1 - loosen Vol Pot Hex Nut

00:00 - Hear Clock Noise whine on Patch P01-1, with NR OFF, Guitar Volume =0

00:12 - Use 10mm wrench and loosen the Volume Potentiometer Hex Nut

00:17 - Clock Noise Whine is eliminated, leaving pink noise

00:26 - Guitar is played with Volume on "7" and hear the high gain tone of patch P01-1 WelcomeToAmpero

00:32 End

---

A reminder in Video above, the Ampero (NR) Noise Reduction Block is OFF , so it reveals ALL noise - after loosing the VOL POT Hex Nut , the remaining hiss you hear before I play guitar is typical for ANY DSP Amp Modeler MultiFX with its noise reduction = OFF on High Gain Amp patches (including Kemper Fractal, Helix, AmpliFIRE, GT-1000) with Noise reduction OFF.

IMHO, on High Gain patches Ampero has same or less hiss than Helix.

Good News Ampero Amp tones "feel and sound" great right out of the box , work best for the type of tones I shoot for.

Fantastic workaround but I'd like to know how that noise even happened

I bet taking it apart would help a lot more to diagnose exactly what’s grounding your sound out…

I've tried this solution but It didn't work with my Ampero, the electric noise still not eliminated. (I removed the 2 metal rings from 2 big knobs.) Does your pedal is made in Ampero 1st production? thank you

I have just get rid of this annoying hum today:
1. Remove all the screws and washers stabilizing (allegedly - Ampero construction is stable as a rock) knobs, outputs and inputs.
2. Unscrew and remove rear panel. How beatiful it was... But humming too.
3. Done!
There is some residual hum, especially with high gain on amp simulations, but it's uncomparable to original setup. Construction of AmperoOne is so rigid and stable that lacking rear panel does no harm at all. For me at least...
Of course one should use as best instrument connection as possible. My pick is Roland cables. Wireless? For bedroom musician? LOTFL
I have one cheap Harley Benton wireless. Directly to the amp (Marshall DSL1): very good. With AmperoOne? Forget... For me at least...
