I got my Heeler tired once. She passed out and didn’t move for six hours. Then right back to it. They get tired but are so tough and dedicated they don’t show it. The greatest dogs IMHO.

I currently own a Border Collie x Kelpie. Two of the best breeds, but I greatly admire Blue Heelers. My last dog was Heeler (red) x Jack Russell, and she was the best vermin dog I’ve ever seen. Uncounted numbers of rabbits and rats, north west of Sydney.
I recall once I took her into the chicken house where I had a sheet of iron on which I put table scraps. I lifted the sheet and saw 4 rats which began to run in all directions. She got all 4 of them faster than I could see what was happening.
