Now see, if memory serves from Darth Bane’s trilogy of books, HE orchestrated the annihilation of the Sith Empire because it’d become too bloated to effectively combat the Jedi.

If Anakin left the fight with Obi-Wan unscathed and never needed the armor and prosthetics, how strong of a Sith Lord would he have been? From my understanding even though he was still extremely formidable and powerful, Sidious had the armor built to stiffen Anakin's mobility, comfort, and overall power in fear of Vader one day overcoming the power and position of Sidious.
