I went into a restaurant as a kid that had "inboard" and "outboard, " like boat engines. My babysitter was very embarrassed to have to explain why "inboard" was the one I was supposed to use

Lemme say this though, in Hawaii we often use Kane and Wahine (men and women) for the signs because it’s our language in our stolen country lol. But I getcha.

I remember going to a restaurant and on the doors one said “blah” and the other said “blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah”

I remmeber going to the bathroom by myself for one of the first times as a kid and being super anxious and going back to my parents asking if I was a clam or sn oyster. Now when my husband and I see this, we just go to opposite doors and my stepdaughter goes with her dad.

This reminds me of when I went to Nando’s with a friend at like age 8 or 9 and the bathroom had the gender symbols on, when I tell you I was taken aback, we had no idea what to do. We were standing there like 😧

I absolutely love it. And they should always do it so kids arent tricked by schools. We do want gender norms. Because its norm
