1: They don't cost 2000$, synthetic diamonds are dirt cheap.
2: Diamonds made in a lab vs made in the ground are the exact same, infact they are even MORE pure made in a lab.
3: Diamonds are not the hardest substance naturally occuring, that is lonsdaleite however many people do not count it as it requires absurd conditions for it to form.
4: I'm fairly certain obsidian blades are considered a warm crime under unneeded suffering due to them shattering inside the body and causing immense pain.
