Full of Paddington’s signature blend of wit, charm, and laugh-out-loud humor, Paddington in Peru finds the beloved, marmalade-loving bear lost in the jungle on an exciting, high-stakes adventure. When Paddington discovers his beloved Aunt Lucy has gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, he and the Brown family head to the wilds of Peru to look for her, the only clue to her whereabouts a spot marked on an enigmatic map. Determined to solve the mystery, Paddington embarks on a thrilling quest through the rainforests of the Amazon to find his aunt…and may also uncover one of the world’s most legendary treasures.

The third Paddington film stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton, Carla Tous, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas, and Ben Whishaw returning as the voice of Paddington.

When we went to Peru to work with the church in LIma in 1986, our children wrote to Michael Bond, author of the Paddington books, to ask if Paddington would like to come with us to visit Aunt Lucy in her retirement home in Lima. We got a lovely reply back, with lots of Paddington pawprints, saying that Paddington was quite happy in London and would continue to keep in touch with Aunt Lucy by writing letters to her (no email in those days). It seems from this film that Paddington has changed his mind, having thought about it for 38 years.

I'm sad that Sally Hawkins is not returning to play Mary Brown but Emily Mortimer is so perfect for a replacement in capturing the charm and warmth that Sally brought to the character. So happy to see Emily in a new movie, she's so underrated imo

Watched this over the weekend with the family. It was so nice to have just a wholesome, funny movie to watch that was kid friendly and free of “the message”. Highly recommend this for good, clean family fun!

We saw it today (hello from Australia 🇦🇺) and highly recommend it.
Obviously, it's good for families with young children, but there are lots of fun one liners and movie and cultural references for older people, too.
Tactful and witty throughout.

As someone who has watched this film, (it’s already released in the UK) I can confirm that this film is SO GOOD OMG!!! It keeps the tried and tested formula of the first two and it has Puss in Boots’s actor! So what’s not to love?

If they pull this off perfectly, i'd love to see the Paddington trilogy goes to become one of the greatest movie trilogy of all time, right up there with The Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Would be absolutely glorious 🤗🙌
