I hope this console is successful. It really seems like something special, that isn't trying to be the next big console.
It's just trying to remind you of a better time, a time when we actually sat down and played games together instead of yelling and screaming over so many things. I hope you guys make tons off of this.

I wish you the best, I truly love and respect when people talk about their projects, art or products this way.

The designing things to be strong (making the plastic thicker & with extra supports, simplifying the design for fewer failure points, etc) reminds me of Nintendo's systems (before the Switch...). Pretty much every Nintendo system I've owned (besides the lens on my Gamecube) was alive a decade or so later. I'm genuinely excited about everything this console is doing.

Guys I get you are passionate etc but this is the real world, do you really think anyone is going to look at a similar priced option in the Switch which has portable gaming and every port on planet earth and opt to buy this instead? How? Explain the logic to me because I'm not getting it.

Also using snapdragon? The same stuff that is in most phones? Meanwhile we have a new generation of killers around the corner and ps4/xbone/switch probably hitting massive discounts to keep consumer interest along with crazy savings and a booming second hand/online-deals market, there is no way this thing survives.

That dial in light interaction is freaking awesome.
Really loved the detailed break down. It really reflects the amount of detailed oriented attention that has gone in!

Much like with Google's Stadia platform, I'm more supportive of it's probability of being a respected platform, in spite of its potential faults, whatever they may end up being.

But I couldn't help but feel like that $250 price is going to end up biting the Amico in the butt right from the get go, even though the technology behind it justifies it's price also.
